We can't wait to spoil your kids! The Salem City Youth Council has been working hard on the games for this Saturday, October 24th! The event will also include the trunk or treat and a COVID-style costume contest! Please wear a mask and join us!  

Fifth Grade

Students in 5th grade finished up a science unit on matter by doing several hands on activities.  Two of those activities included making homemade root beer and plaster molds.

Tabitha's Way Food Drive

During the weeks of October 10th-23rd, we are collecting donations of canned pumpkin and yams for Tabitha's Way Food Pantry. Donations will be used to make Thanksgiving Meal baskets for local families in need. If you can donate, please drop-off your cans in the barrels located in the main entrance of the school. They will be picked up on Friday, October 23rd.

Second Grade

Students in second grade completed their study of the butterfly life cycle by letting the butterflies go.  The butterflies didn't want to go!

Parents Wanting to Change Their Child's Learning Option

Dear Parents:

As we approach the end of first term (October 29), parents wanting to change their child’s learning option for second term from Remote Learning to At-School Learning, or vice versa, can do so by submitting their decision in THIS LINK between October 5 and October 20.

If parents do not wish to change their student’s learning option at this time, they do not need to submit a decision.
