We read books this week about being kind and a Super Kid. We learned that kind is in kindergarten and we should treat others kindly. We put on ‘Super Kid Capes’ and promised to do super kind things for others!
The first day of kindergarten was very exciting. We observed a butterfly like scientists then let the butterfly go!
For Nebo Parents--Uplift Parenting Conference
The Uplift Parenting Conference is the initiative of First Lady of Utah Jeanette Herbert. Five presenters will be giving Tips Talks. Presenters include: David Osmond, Brad Barton, Jessie Funk, Collin Kartchner, and Clay Olsen. Topics range from resiliency, addiction recovery, social media, and anxiety. Nebo School District offers free hearing screenings for all Kindergarten, 1st, 3rd, and 6th grade students each year. This year, the screenings will be held at Salem Elementary on Tuesday, September 3rd in the morning. Each child in these grade levels will be screened. It takes about 3-5 minutes.
