During School Lunch week, Salem Elementary students were able to share the goodness of school lunch with their families! Thank you for all those who came, and especially thanks to our lunch ladies who work very hard to prepare lunch for our students each and every day!
Fifth grade has been conducting some interesting experiments this past month to learn about the steps in the Scientific Method.

The 2nd graders in Mrs. Hooley's class took a walking field trip to heritage park. They learned all about the community of the past, about the ways pioneers lived, and how to churn butter. Special thanks to the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers for showing us all the amazing things right here in Salem.
Our new speech therapists have been doing fun lessons with the Kindergartners! They recently practiced the "sh" sound with a song called "Wishy Washy Wee!"
Kindergartners went to the Salem Public Library today! They enjoyed hearing stories like "The Dark Dark Night", "Is that Wise Pig?", and "Can you make a scary face?"
