Our school custodian, Mr. Clark, has been transferred to another school and we will all miss him here at Salem Elementary.
Mr. Clark was more than a custodian, he helped take care of our school! He could always be found on cold winter mornings plowing the walks and playground. He was always in the lunchroom talking with kids and making them smile and laugh at lunch time. He was always popping into classrooms asking teachers if they needed anything and making sure their rooms had been cleaned. Salem Elementary was a better place because of Mr. Clark.
Mrs. Bangerter's Kindergarten class at Salem Pond. Look at those smiling faces, it doesn't get much cuter than this!
Kindergarten visited Wild Wonders where they had a wonderful time learning about animals.
Fifth-graders graduated from NOVA! NOVA stands for Nurturing, Opportunities, Values, Accountability.
During the school year, Officer Worwood spent 14 weeks in the fifth grade classrooms teaching valuable lessons to the kids.
Nate Sampson, a BYU Football player, was a guest speaker at the graduation. Congrats to all these fifth graders and a special thanks to Officer Worwood for a successful year and a job well done.
