Fourth-graders went to Spanish Fork Canyon to learn about plants and animals of Utah. People from the Forest Service taught them about different birds, and helped them bird watch. Then they learned about how to keep the freshwater streams healthy. Students were able to put on waders and look for different species in the water. They also tested the PH levels of the water to make sure they were safe for plants and animals to live there. Finally, fourth-graders took a hike and saw different habitats of birds, beavers, and trout. It was such a fun day
