Annual Rubik Cube Challenge

Every year students and staff are invited to participate in a Rubik Cube Challenge. Participants race to see who is the fastest at solving the Rubik puzzle. The student champion for 2021 is Ian Francis. The staff champion is Mr. Waters. Congratulations to both!!

Valentine's Day at Salem Elementary

Salem Elementary will be celebrating Valentine's Day on Friday, February 12th. Students can bring Valentine's for their classmates. COVID regulations state: Any food needs to be individually prepackaged from a manufacturer. No cookies, cupcakes or doughnuts. Please do not have deliveries sent to the school. All Valentine's will be opened by students at home.

STEAM Room and 3rd Grade

Our 3rd grade took live Brine Shrimp and Brine Shrimp eggs to observe under the STEAM room microscopes and get an up-close look at the life cycle of the Great Salt Lake’s keystone organism.
