The PTO Fitness Day this month featured Zumba. A big thanks to Kylie Smith coming in and teaching our students some fun Zumba dances!
Students have been competing to see which class could bring in the most Box Tops. The winners of the competition are in third place, Mr. Stutz's class with 414; second place, Mrs. Gibson's class with 456; and in first place, with a total of 956 Box Tops, is Mrs. Bailey's class! Congratulations and thank you to everyone who participated!
A lot has been going on in Kindergarten the last couple of weeks. From celebrating Valentine's Day and One Hundredth Day, to using scales to compare objects, these kids are learning lots and having fun.

Kinder practiced their R sound with Mrs. Peterson by acting out "Ten in the Bed." They had lots of fun singing the song and pretending to fall out of bed.
Nebo School District is always trying to improve communication and responsiveness to our stakeholders.
PTO will be selling Val-O-Grams and flowers before school and at lunchtime on February 9th, and 12th-14th. Val-O-Grams are 1 for $0.25, 5 for $1.00, or $5.00 for the entire class. Single flowers are $2.00. Val-O-Grams and flowers will be delivered on the 14th.
Good job to all those who participated in the school spelling bee, and congratulations to the winners: Nate Thorne, first place; Cambrie Peterson, second place; and Mia Carlos, third place.
Yesterday, kindergarten made their own groundhogs and voted if Phil would see his shadow. They thought he wouldn't see his shadow and Spring will come sooner...at least that's how they hoped that it would go. So, now that it is actually Groundhog Day, did the groundhog see his shadow? Are we going to have an early Spring?
