On Wednesday, March 20, Salem Elementary's Third Grade held it's Spelling Bee. Congratulations to the following students who are the winners of the 2013 Third Grade Spelling Bee: 1st place- Chloe Peterson, 2nd place- Abigail Filmore, and 3rd place- Brett Bailey.
The 5th graders did a fantastic job with the Science Fair last week. They planned and executed excellent projects, and presented them to parents and students. The students had fun and learned a lot through the Science Fair experience!
What is a great way to start the day? Reading of course! On March 22 at 8:15 a.m. students are invited to bring their parents and a book to celebrate Parents and Pastries. Come and join us in the cafeteria to enjoy pastries and read stories with your children.
Star Cards are given to students who are caught doing great things around our school. These Salem Stars really shine: Cooper Robinson, Tessa Hanks, Patricia Jairl, Benjamin Anderson, Caulyn Wilde, and Grace Neves.
