Mr. Welburn Reads to Students

Submitted by dorie.thatcher on

It's always a treat for students to have a story read aloud to them by our principal, Mr. Welburn.  This month he read Mr. Peabody's Apples, a fun story that reminded us not to be so quick to judge others and to remember our words.  Mrs. Albrecht joined in on the fun and read a Halloween poem for two voices with Mr. Welburn.  We look forward to next month!

Fall Family Festival

Good times were had at the Salem Elementary Fall Family Festival, while students and families enjoyed music , dancing, bounce houses, yummy food, and fun friends. The classroon basket auction was a huge success, raising around $5,000, which will be used to help provide the school with new technology.  The PTO and Salem Elementary appreciates all those that bid generously on the baskets and those that donated items to fill them.
