Valentine's Day
Happy Valentine's Day!
Fourth Grade Dance Night
Oh Johnny Oh! and the Boot Scootin' Boogie were just a few of the dances that fourth graders shared with their parents on their Fourth Grade Dance Night. A lot of smiles were seen while both students and parents tore it up on the dance floor with a little heel toing and doce doeing. It was a much anticipated event and ended up being a very special night indeed.

Christmas Assembly
Salem Elementary's Christmas Assembly is a fun tradition that is always much anticipated by all students. Students sing Christmas songs as a grade level, and the fifth graders play their recorders. This year the sixth graders performed a dance to Olaf's song "Summer". This year students were thrilled when Santa dropped in for a surprise visit. Definitly a great way to show school spirit and spread some holiday cheer.
Best Surprise Ever
Sophia and Levi's brother came home and surprised them at school!
PTO Delivers Christmas Gifts
After being asked to make a wishlist of items for their classrooms and/or students could benefit from, teachers received a gift from the PTO. The gifts included items such as listening center components, art supplies, musical instruments, manipulatives, and much, much more. Thank you to our PTO for the awesome gifts!
Third Graders Attend the Ballet
The third graders got all dressed up to go to the ballet! Mrs. Hall's class poses with cast members Pinocchio, Cat, Fox, and Stromboli.
Turkey Gobbling Assembly
Every year it is a tradition for Salem Elementary to hold a Turkey Gobbling contest. There are two categories, gobble and gobble/strut combo, in which students can compete. Grade level winners each took home a pumpkin pie! We definitely had a great time this year!! We thank Miss Salem, Officer Kirby, and Mr. Welburn for judging the contest.
