Fifth graders look forward to the rocket launch all year long. Such a fun activity to culminate science and wrap up the year.
Congratulations to those students who earned their STAR Award this month. We are proud of our students here at Salem Elementary for all of their hard work and their talents that they share with us.
Sixth graders worked really hard to prepare and perform 4 different Shakespeare plays; Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet, MacBeth, and Much Ado About Nothing. Their hardwork paid off, they did a fantastic job.
"You're off to great places! Today is your day! Your mountain is waiting so...get on your way!" -Dr. Seuss
These first graders are definitely on their way to move mountains, and it showed in their first grade program, "Oh! The Places You'll Go!". It was an absolute delight.
Kindergarten celebrated reading with a Pajama Party
Kindergarten had a blast at Wild Wonders learning about and petting interesting animals!
Second graders at Salem Elementary have learned so much about animals and their habitats, and it shows! Students selected an animal to research, write about, and then create a diorama display. Students were excited to share all they had learned and created with the rest of the school. Great job second graders!
