Fossils!

Fourth graders had the privilege of having Seth Sorensen, from the district office, bring some fossils from his own collection to show and talk about.  It was an awesome way to review for end of year testing, but most of all really fun and interesting.

OverDrive Summer Read

Nebo School District is gearing up for summer break.  While summer presents an opportunity to relax and enjoy the sushine, we want our students to continue to find ways to learn while away from the classroom.

We have an exciting reading service available through OverDrive.  The OverDrive collection provides free 24/7 access to eBooks and audiobooks.  What better way to engage your student's mind than through reading?

There's no better way to start the day than with parents, donuts and books.  Thanks to our PTO for putting on the book fair and Parents and Pastries to help raise money for our school! Also, a big thank you to our parents for supporting our school and especially your kids!

Living Planet's Water Van Visits Fourth Grade

Last week, Living Planet Aquarium's Water Van visited the fourth grade. Developed specifically for 4th grade, the Water Van explores the importance of water in Utah. Education Presenters discuss the water cycle, as well as the role that wetlands play in our environment, and how water affects animal life.  It was a fun way to review the things stuents have been learning in science.
