Fourth Grade Learns About the Water Cycle

Submitted by dorie.thatcher on
The Living Planet Aquarium Utah Waters Van is offered to 4th grade students throughout Utah. The content is specifically designed to correlate with the Utah State Office of Education’s Science Core Curriculum. Presenters guide students through a variety of topics including; wetland ecosystems, the water cycle, and water conservation.
Students were able to see a real working model that demonstrates the water cycle, participate in a student centered experiment showing how air pressure and temperature impact condensation, see live animals and how the water cycle impacts their lives in Utah, and learn the importance of water conservation.
