Crystal Apple Award

Salem Elementary fourth–grade teacher Miss Holthaus, has been awarded the Crystal Apple Award by her colleagues for being a dedicated educator. Miss Holthaus goes above and beyond the call of duty on a daily basis.  She is dedicated and committed to the succes of her students, as she teaches, challenges, and inspires.

Not only does Miss Holthaus dedicate herself to her students, but to the faculty and staff here at Salem Elementary as well.  Miss Holthaus is the mentor for our new teachers, she was one of the first teachers to help develop our ‘Walking Report Cards”, and she always volunteers to help out when needed.
