Spirit/Kindness Week Monday- Call or Facetime a grandparent or elderly friend/family...Crazy Socks Tuesday - What book are you reading? ... Reach out to a friend they haven't heard from lately and ask how they are doing. Wednesday - Weed for your parent...Workout Wednesday-How are you staying active? Thursday - Pajama Day...  Write/record a thank you to your teacher or mom for helping you with At-Home Learning. Friday - Wear your school spirit colors... Send a letter or email to a friend/relative.

School Lunch and Breakfast Available

Any children, preschool thru 12th grade, can pick up a breakfast and/or lunch from the school between 9am and 11:30am.  If you would like to order school breakfast and/or lunch please call the front office between 8am and 9am the day of and give a count of how many.  The front office number is 801-423-1182.

Dear Parent/Guardian:

 

Like you, we are just learning that Governor Gary R. Herbert, State Superintendent Syd Dickson, and the Utah State Board of Education “announced today that Utah’s K-12 public schools will extend their dismissal [soft closure] through Friday, May 1st.”  Their press release further stated that they will “continue to evaluate the situation to make a determination about the remaining school year” and that:

In this ever-changing environment, Nebo School District is working hard to meet the needs of the children in our communities. Nebo School District’s Child Nutrition Department has received a fee waiver from the State Board of Education through the USDA. Therefore:

Dear Salem Elementary Families,

Teachers have been working hard to prepare lessons and materials for "At Home Learning" during this school dismissal period. Teachers are currently reaching out to parents/guardians through emails, remind apps, and phone calls to ensure that we have the most current contact information. All communication will be delivered through emails, remind apps and learning management systems (Google Classroom, SeeSaw, etc.)
