Second graders visit Harward Farms for Farm Field Days.  Mrs. James class enjoyed learning about farms in our communities!!

Mrs. James' Class at Salem City Library!  We love learning about the Wonderful things our city offers!!!

Fourth graders had fun integrating art and texture into their social studies unit about the physical land forms in Utah.  The students worked hard to create a representation of Utah's lakes, rivers, and mountains using salt dough.  Thanks to all the parents who helped provide the dough!

We are excited to be able to offer t-shirts and hooded sweatshirts for 2015!  We will place the order by October 9th and they should arrive by Halloween.  We will be doing school spirit days every Friday where the kids can wear their Salem shirts from this or past years, as well as the school colors (blue and yellow).  It is not required that you purchase a t-shirt to be able to participate in Spirit Day.

A big THANKS to our school's custodian Mr. Clark.  He does so much to keep our school and school grounds looking nice. To show our apprecitiation classes made posters for him and displayed them in our hallways.

Fact vs Opinion... Fourth graders have been busy expressing their opinions through writing.  Not only do they get to voice their opinion, but they learn how to back it up with evidence and examples.
